The University of Warwick is building the West Midlands Health and Wellbeing Innovation Network (WMHWIN).

WMHWIN will help in posing challenges and supporting solutions across the health and related landscape.

With support from the West Midlands Combined Authority, and collaboration across University of Warwick, Bruntwood SciTech, University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, and Warwick Medical School.

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and versatile Innovation Hub Manager to join the Innovation Group. Working with partner organisations to create a vibrant, innovative and challenging ecosystem of incubation and acceleration in the Health and Wellbeing arena. Experience in capability building for business (including incubation and / or acceleration of business), enabling scale up and supporting innovative ideas are a must, as well as working with a diverse range of stakeholders. In this exciting new role you will be hands on, designing and delivering an inspired programme of activity, and mentoring and supporting cohort groups on their business growth journey.

The world of innovation is exciting and will play a significant part in building the social, economic and regional development post COVID. We work with students, businesses, university staff and academics, SMEs, 3rd sector, NHS and public sector and anything in between. No two days will be the same, join us on the adventure!

We are also looking for people interested in supporting us through our advisory board. Senior representatives from the world of Health, Health industries, regional development, innovation and enterprise will be key to helping us shape the future of the WMHWIN. 

A range of roles including Exec Chair: As part of your portfolio of other activities you are probably in an influencing role within the health or life sciences sector, part of the NHS or a corporate. You will be passionate about heralding and showcasing innovation, and lead the strategy that will deliver a challenge focussed approach to solving real life healthcare problems with the talents across the West Midlands. Approximately 4 days per month commitment. 

Entrepreneur in Residence: As part of the team of experts, you will have walked the walk! You will be a current or previous entrepreneur who has experience and strategies for sharing knowledge, experience, skills and approaches for those starting or developing their businesses. Approximately 4 days per month commitment.
