On 3rd October 2024, we cut the ribbon to our first community project in collaboration with regional artists Pickle Illustration!

The artwork — focusing on exploring senses and wellbeing in open green spaces — uses QR codes beside each unique piece of art to further engage young people and families into a sensory experience. The work has been designed to promote a healthy connection to nature, while capturing in real-time how our emotions change at each stage. A competition to ‘name the squirrel’ will be open to local schools, with drawings submitted and shared through our Instagram channel (@LeamSensoryStroll). Final drawings will be open to a public vote, with the winner receiving a print of the design signed by the artists.
