Congratulations to Warwick spin-out and their collaborators!

On 23rd January CryoLogyx was awarded the The Innovation in Formulation and Formulation Science Award from SCI, for their work in collaboration with Professor Matthew Gibson and Dr Tom Whale. The team included their lead development scientist Dr Ruben Tomas. This was awarded for their innovative cryopreservation formulation, which enables cells to be cryopreserved so they are ‘assay-ready’, in particular for our liver-cell products. This emerged from fundamental research into cryobiology including Dr Kathryn Murray and Nina Kinney who worked at the University of Warwick.

The Award recognises formulation innovations equally in both business and academia: The Innovation in Formulation and Formulation Science Award. The award acknowledges leading work where formulation innovation has delivered new solutions that lead and inspire the formulation community.
