  • Do you have a great idea for a deep tech business?
  • Are you looking for help to grow or pivot?
  • Take your start-up business to the next level…

My name is Michael Hobbs, I am the founder of Which Days. You’ll find us at whichdays.com. Which Days is, if you like, an urban socialization tool. It’s a bit like LinkedIn, but you actually get to meet the people, which is where we believe our USP lies, although I am a seasoned business person.

You can never have too many inputs as an entrepreneur, and I think it’s critical that you keep talking to people, you keep getting challenged by others to move on to new things because the market is dynamic, and you as an entrepreneur also have to be dynamic. So I think that’s much of what a good incubator or accelerator can give to entrepreneurs.

It is that variety of inputs that is so essential. You don’t realize what you don’t know until you find out that you don’t know it, right? So it’s that atmosphere of challenge and exploration that I think is your main reason for it.

The second thing I gained from it a lot was the opportunity to pitch. Whether you are actually raising at that time or not, it doesn’t particularly matter. It’s that process – having to sell your proposition, sell yourself, sell your team – that is really, really valuable. So I’d go for that thing.

Number three is the material. I’ve been around the block, but it’s still very useful to be reminded of good methodologies around product development and entrepreneurship so that you don’t end up designing things based on your own presuppositions. You end up designing things for yourself if you go to an office every day. If it’s a good office, you get a lot of bumping into people.

What is your strategy for bumping into a lot of people so that you can test your ideas and contribute to those? That is the key to it. Look to your cohort to be a continued source of inspiration, challenge, and just sort of, you know, friends and people to be with on your entrepreneurial journey.

Thank you.

Who can apply?

Anyone with a great deep tech idea or early stage business. There are no geographic restrictions, though we would like everyone to benefit from being part of a diverse cohort, so we’d like to meet you in person from time to time!

What do we offer?
