As the Creative Futures Incubator celebrates its second year of delivery, a fifth cohort of businesses joins the programme, bringing our grand total to 25 businesses supported since November 2020.

Cohort 5 joins the ranks of our businesses who have benefited from a cumulative 293 hours of 1 to 1 coaching, 45 hours of group sessions, and introductions to 126 business and academic contacts. Businesses joining the Creative Futures community in this latest cohort include photographer Ana Frantz, children’s publisher Owlet, and immersive theatre company Liminal Stage Productions.

 Meet Cohort 5…

BOXX Design

Led by Nicky Bagga and Michael Craig, Boxx Design Studio specialises in interior and architectural design services focussing on creating memorable brands and exciting experiences for hospitality, retail and commercial clients.

Jess Williams

Jess is a pattern and surface designer working across a wide range of products from stationery to fabrics through to gifts and homewares. Jess works with clients to develop bespoke patterns and is working to expand into new markets across the UK and globally

Owlet Press

As a small yet mighty publisher, Owlet specialises in a range of titles for 4 – 8 year olds and recently expanded into pre-teen literature. Their books focus on diversity and inclusion through re-telling classic stories such as Cinderella to creating new titles that help children explore tough topics such as gender or grief.

Liminal Stage Productions

Led by Robyn Wingfield-Smith, Liminal is a forward-thinking theatre company generating ambitious creative content at the intersection of live performance and emerging technologies; colliding different media, genres and forms to question the boundaries of stage, screen and the liminal spaces in between.

Ana Frantz Photography

Ana captures people, places and products in a unique way with her photography. She has built a strong client base and now through her network of creatives, plans to offer a broad range of services to brands with soul, who want to tell their visual story in engaging ways.
