The home of Warwick Esports, the Warwick Esports Centre houses state-of-the-art PCs, industry-leading innovation, exciting brand activations and regional partnerships that fuel skill programs for the local area.

Our prime location in the West Midlands, the heart of the United Kingdom, allows for us to be easily accessible to all kinds of opportunities. This ranges from our regional work with Warwickshire County Council to national collaborations such as our ESI: Next Gen conference with Esports Insider in March 2023.

We’ve worked with a huge variety of organisations, brands, schools and charities, from the local football club to universities in North America.

Our fully adaptable space allows for a range of unique activations and experiences – contact us to find out how we can work together.

Thank you for giving students such a good opportunity on campus. It really is a good way to share interests in people from different backgrounds.

Our Skills Programmes

Since it’s opening in September 2021, the Esports Centre has run three separate programmes aimed at young people, ranging from 11-25 year olds. Through our partnerships with national and regional organisations, as well as private companies, we have been able to provide over 300 students with the skills and tools they need to pursue a digital or creative career.

You can read more about the impact of these programmes using the tabs below.

Esports Futures

Our largest programme to date, Esports Futures was the result of the Esports Centre being awarded £115,000 in funding from the UK Community Renewal Fund. The programme was aimed at young people to increase their understanding of the esports industry and its options.

Esports Futures took young people across a two day experience where they learned a wide array of soft and transferable skills, whilst enjoying the University’s new Esports Centre. Following their session, each group of 24, 16 – 24 year olds had access to a career focus group to continue their development.

You can find out more about the Esports Futures programme here.

Inspire Through Esports

Inspire Through Esports (ITE) is a Warwickshire County Council intiative. Working closely with Warwickshire Skills Hub, we delivered free one-day trips to the Esports Centre for year 8s to take part in eye opening learning experiences. Ahead of the tough GCSE options decisions, it’s important that our future innovators get hands-on experiences with creative and digital jobs, such as graphics design, video editing, online event organisation, streaming, production, and many many more. Students got the ability to try all these skills, broadening their academic horizons and showing them career paths they might not have considered otherwise.

Robot Diaries

Our newest programme brought to you by Senosis, Robot Diaries is an immersive storytelling VR experience set in a sci-fi Robot Care Centre. Within the Care Centre, robots are awaiting help from skilful engineers who would restore them to their former glory. Participating students will gain digital literacy skills, deepen their understanding of VR, improve their collaboration skills and even implicitly learn about neurodivergent conditions like dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia.

Brand Partnerships & Activations

Alongside our regional council partners, we work closely with numerous brands on bespoke activations. What makes the Esports Centre unique is having all the benefits of being on a university campus. Boundless access to school connections (great for after school clubs), students (the best beta testers!) and promotional space – you dream it, we can do it.

Previously we’ve worked with huge brands like Samsung, Chillblast, MeetSpaceVR, HADO UK, Esports Insider, Williams Resolve and the University of Waterloo, among many more.

If you’re looking to make the jump into esports as a business, we have the knowledge, experience and resources to make it a success.
