Support for start-up businesses and entrepreneurs. Get access to leading University of Warwick resources and networks of mentors and inventors.

The Deep Tech Innovation Centre, part of the Warwick Innovation District, is focused on inspiring, educating and incubating the next generation of innovation founders.

We support aspirational entrepreneurs looking to build innovative businesses with a number of key resources and business acceleration programmes. We work with early-stage founders across all market sectors, both B2B and B2C, helping you to validate your idea and determine the product-market fit. Our founders benefit from individual mentoring, training, networking, a range of resources, as well as access to our dedicated facilities on campus.

Petri Lehtonen, founder & CEO of Flowtrace – Team Collaboration Diagnostics, who are currently enjoying the benefits of the Deep Tech incubator said: “Flowtrace joined the inaugural DTIC in early 2021. The program has provided us with a natural way to share ideas, collaborate and network with academic peer companies who are building ground breaking technologies.

Flowtrace empower teams to do their best work. Helping businesses redefine how they measure collaboration and productivity – Helping to identify and break down information silos, improve time allocation and productivity and increase staff retention and engagement.

Petri continues: “It’s been exciting to be involved and follow how these newly developed technologies are being built and how this has translated to new ideas, learnings and some amazing start-ups being commercialised.”

Professor Andy Pardoe, Executive Chair Deep Tech Innovation Centre said: “We are in a wonderful period where the capabilities of advanced technology are truly showing significant benefits.
