WM Creative Scale-up are looking to work with any creative business in the region with ambitions to grow and ‘scale up’ including screen, gaming, VR, AI, performing arts, marketing and events, PR and design businesses.
What is it?
The Creative Scale Up Programme is a £1.3 million 2 year programme funded by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport. It aims to help Creative Businesses in the West Midlands with targeted support including Access to Finance, Marketing and Branding, Value and Pricing, Intellectual Property and Contract Law and Sales, Pitching and Presenting support. This will be delivered through a series of workshops, seminars and peer to peer mentoring sessions.
Those businesses with an interest in receiving investment will also be introduced to a number of different investors and funding streams through ‘Scale Up’ Showcase Events which will happen biannually.
West Midlands Creative Scale Up Programme – Showcase 2021 is the third and final Virtual Showcase event taking place on 30th March. Filled with excitement and creative spirit, bringing together creative businesses who have been part of the programme to highlight their successes and experiences throughout their scaleup journey.
